原生家庭圖可看到什麼？對自己，對他人，對家人有什麼新發現嗎？以約瑟為例，他的家庭背景非常複雜，人事關係錯亂，但正是塑造約瑟的性格。在繪畫好自己的原生家庭，我們可以問自己的10個問題是什麼？我的出生，所為何事？為何父母要生我？我從父親、母親、祖父、祖母，兄弟姊妹中承繼了什麼？ ….
Questions to be raised after drawing the genogram…
1. Why was I born? Why did my parents give birth to me? 我的出生，所為何事？為何父母要生我？
2. From whom did I get my character and personality in the family? 我的性格在家庭中那裏培養得來？
3. Where did i inherit from my father? Mother? Grandpa? Gradma snd siblings? 我從父親、母親、祖父、祖母，兄弟姊妹中承繼了什麼？
4. What relationship do I have with my father? Mother? Siblings? Do i want to keep it that way? 我與父親、母親、兄弟姊妹的關係如何？我是想這樣維持與他們的關係嗎？
5. What bad relationship do I have with any one of them? 我與他們那一位的關係最差？那一位的關係最好？為什麼？
6. What conflicts did I have with each one of them? 我與他們之間那一位的關係衝突最多? 為什麼？
7. How are these affecting my character? My personality? 以上這些如何影響我的性格？
8. Now with the resources i have how can I deal with the bad relationship, conflicts differently? 以我現有的資源，可能更好的處理惡劣的關係衝突嗎？
9. With God’s love in me and with me, how can I see things differently? 以上帝之愛，和對我的愛，我可以用什麼不同的眼光看我的家庭嗎？
10. How much more did I discover from the genogram? 我可能從這原生家庭圖中發現自己什麼更多嗎？
